Spring Garden Wedding at Darby Farm in Dade City, Florida

Emma and Colton’s wedding at Darby Farm in Dade City, Florida was the perfect example of how soft color, organic textures, and garden-inspired florals can completely transform a rustic setting.

Their floral palette was full of delicate spring color—soft peach and blush, butter yellow, lavender, powder blue, creamy white, and fresh green. Rather than creating anything overly structured or formal, the designs had a loose, whimsical feel, with flowers reaching and dancing naturally throughout each arrangement. Garden roses and ranunculus brought softness and romance, while delicate seasonal blooms and textural greenery gave the florals that freshly gathered-from-the-garden look.

Emma’s bouquet was designed to feel romantic without being overly traditional. Peach and blush blooms were mixed with pale yellow, lavender, blue, and green, with taller stems and delicate flowers extending beyond the main body of the bouquet.

The result was an airy, organic silhouette that complemented her simple strapless gown beautifully. The bridesmaids carried coordinating bouquets against soft sage green dresses, allowing all of those subtle spring colors to stand out while still keeping the overall palette natural and understated.

Darby Farm’s outdoor ceremony space provided an incredible backdrop beneath the property’s mature trees. We wanted the floral design to enhance the setting rather than compete with it.

The wooden ceremony arbor was decorated asymmetrically with climbing floral installations in the same garden-inspired palette. Larger arrangements anchored the base of the arbor, while flowers and greenery traveled upward along the wooden structure to create a naturally overgrown effect.

Along the aisle, low floral arrangements were placed beside the wooden benches. The repeated pops of peach, lavender, yellow and white carried the color palette all the way from the entrance of the aisle to the ceremony backdrop.

Inside the reception space, the warm wooden farm tables and cross-back chairs created the perfect contrast for the colorful flowers. Long, low centerpieces filled the tables with layers of garden roses, ranunculus, lavender and blue accents, delicate white and yellow flowers, and abundant greenery. Instead of making every flower sit at the same height, the arrangements incorporated movement and variation so they felt natural from every angle. Smaller bud vases scattered throughout the tables added another layer of color while keeping the design relaxed and intimate.

One of our favorite things about Emma and Colton’s wedding was the way the color palette felt colorful without becoming overly bright. The peach, yellow, lavender and blue tones were softened by creamy neutrals and plenty of greenery, creating a palette that felt completely at home among the trees, wood tones and natural surroundings of Darby Farm. From Emma’s whimsical bridal bouquet to the ceremony arbor, aisle flowers and lush reception centerpieces, every floral element carried the same loose, romantic garden style throughout the day.
