Colorful Coastal Wedding at The Sandbar on Anna Maria Island
Abby and Connor’s wedding at The Sandbar on Anna Maria Island was everything we love about coastal weddings—bright, romantic, relaxed and full of color.
For their wedding florals, we created a garden-inspired palette of warm peach and coral, soft lavender and blue, creamy ivory and fresh greenery. Rather than leaning into a traditional beach-inspired color palette, the flowers brought vibrant color and an organic, garden-like feel to the natural backdrop of the Gulf.
The ceremony flowers combined roses and delicate, textural blooms at varying heights, creating movement without competing with the view. Soft lavender and blue tones balanced the warmer peach and coral flowers, while ivory blooms kept the overall design light and romantic. The result was colorful and abundant while still feeling perfectly at home on the beach.
Abby’s bouquet brought together the full color story in a loose, garden-inspired design, while the bridesmaids carried smaller coordinating bouquets that complemented the varying shades and patterns of their blue dresses.
For the reception, colorful floral centerpieces brought the outdoor palette inside, pairing beautifully with crisp white linens, woven chargers and the airy coastal setting at The Sandbar.
One of our favorite details was the floral-filled welcome display—a fun way to carry the flowers beyond the traditional bouquets and centerpieces and make the design feel cohesive from the moment guests arrived.
We loved getting to create flowers that felt unmistakably coastal without relying on a traditional beach-wedding look. Abby and Connor's celebration was joyful, colorful and relaxed, with flowers that felt just a little wild against the white sand and turquoise water.
